Forms + User Experience = Typeform

Forms + User Experience = Typeform

Many times I have left surveys, purchases, or registration forms because of frustrating experiences filling in my details.

This is a terrible waste. A convinced customer ready to buy your product can be lost due to a bad experience at the very end. Fortunately, user experience has made its way into forms.

My favorite option? Typeform. Typeform turns the administrative task of filling out a form into a delightful experience.

A great example is this payment form using Typeform and Stripe, another enjoyable tool for payments.

These forms feel natural and convey that the company cares about providing you with the best experience.

My advice is to try the payment form and then compare it with your recent online shopping experiences.

Would you choose to buy from a competitor if they offered this level of experience?

Hubspot CMS: Tracking emails and attachments

Hubspot CMS: Tracking emails and attachments

Recently, I had the opportunity to work on implementing the HubSpot Customer Management System for a startup I'm involved with. HubSpot offers an impressive free CMS, but its capabilities expand significantly when paired with another tool: HubSpot Sales.

Today, I want to highlight one of the standout features of HubSpot Sales: the ability to track emails and documents. This functionality allows you to see when an email or attachment is opened, the device used to access it, and the location of the recipient at the time.

While this feature might initially seem intrusive or unnecessary, it's actually quite common in other services like MailChimp, another great tool, and it can provide valuable insights in various situations:

The Challenge of Global Communication

In our increasingly globalized world, people are often less accessible than we might hope. The individuals we aim to connect with could be traveling across the globe, and having visibility into their engagement can help us tailor our interactions accordingly.

The "Left for Later" Email

The potential use cases for this tracking feature are numerous, and it can be instrumental in maintaining effective communication with key stakeholders. Now that you're aware of this capability, remember: if an email is important, don't hesitate to track it.

Where to find great images?

No matter if you're working on a presentation, designing a book cover, or picking a photo for your latest blog post, we often need eye-catching images for our projects, and they can be tough to find.

To help with this, I've put together a list of websites that offer fantastic free photos to elevate your work. Best of all, they're royalty-free, so you can use them for commercial purposes without any worries.

  2. Stocksnap
  3. Splitshire

Finally, remember that the photo is usually just half of the equation. You need to adapt it and unless you master photoshop, you probably will want to take a look at this other great tool.
